Getting stir crazy this winter? Milwaukee area ski hills offer the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors during the winter, and many ski hills have special deals available. Here are ski resorts less than an hour away from Milwaukee, including links to special offers and promotions.

Alpine Valley Resort

Alpine Valley’s winter specials include a learn to snowboard package for $60 and a learn to ski package for $60. Children 6 and under get half price lift and rental. Ski packages which include skiing, meals, and lodging are also available for $125 per person on weekdays, and $275 per person for two weekend nights.

AAA Members who show their card receive a $6 discount off the cost of lift ticket prices, Monday-Friday. The offer is not valid on January 19 or February 16.

Crystal Ridge offers discounted rates for groups of 15 or more. According to theirwebsite, seniors 65 and older ski free, and children six and under ski free with the purchase of one regularly priced adult lift ticket.

Sunburst has many special offers available. Offers include a Family Learn to Ski deal on February 21, 28 and March 7th and 14th. For only $80, get lift tickets, ski rentals and a beginner ski lesson for your immediate family. Children must be 6 years or older to participate in the group ski lesson.

Also, The Entertainment Book has a coupon to Sunburst for one adult ski lift ticket at 50% off the regular price.

The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva

Specials include $20 dollar Tuesday, 1/2 off rentals on Wednesdays, and two lift tickets for the price of one on Thursdays. The Mountain Top also has packagessuch as a weeknight stay including one day of skiing for $69.50 per person (based on double occupancy) and weekend packages for $94.50 on Friday and $104.50 on Saturday.
